Lanten people mostly reside in Northern Laos and are one of the smallest ethnic groups in Laos. Textiles are the main source of their income. They are known for cotton weaving - handspun and very tightly woven. 
 
These adorable elephant ornaments are made using their colourful cottons. What makes them special is their handstiches - they are very endearing.
